What are the fabrics commonly used for making work clothes?
1. Cotton fabrics have strong moisture absorption, good dyeing performance, soft hand feel, comfortable wearing, simple appearance, are not easy to be eaten by insects, and are sturdy and durable. However, the shrinkage rate is high, the elasticity is poor, it is prone to wrinkles, the clothing has poor shape retention, is prone to mold, may have slight fading, and is not acid resistant.
2. All cotton mercerized fabric has the advantages of cotton fabric being treated with high concentration caustic soda (wool), resulting in a smooth feel, bright colors, silky luster, and comfortable wearing. But there is also a slight fading phenomenon.
3. Polyester cotton fabric has a firm and smooth feel, with bright colors. The body bone is elastic, has good moisture absorption and breathability, and a smooth surface with certain rainproof functions. It should be noted that the washing temperature is below 30 degrees Celsius, and the soaking time should not exceed 30 minutes. It should not be bleached, exposed to sunlight, wrung dry, or rotated to dry. It is suitable for shade drying, and attention should be paid to moisture prevention.
4. Blending
It is a fabric made by mixing natural fibers and chemical fibers in a certain proportion and weaving them, which can be used to make various clothing. Its strength lies in absorbing the advantages of cotton, linen, silk, wool, and synthetic fibers while avoiding their respective shortcomings as much as possible. Moreover, its relatively low value makes it highly popular.
5. Hemp cloth is a type of fabric made from various hemp plant fibers such as hemp, linen, ramie, jute, sisal, and banana. It is generally used to make casual and workwear, and currently it is also commonly used to make ordinary summer clothing. Its advantages are extremely high strength, moisture absorption, thermal conductivity, and excellent breathability. Its disadvantage is that it is not very comfortable to wear, and its appearance is rough and stiff.
